Editorial method
The WYP glossary explains AI to business leaders. To be useful, it has to be accurate. Here is how we write, check and correct it.
Who writes it
The glossary is published by WYP.agency, an independent strategy studio based in Barcelona and Paris. It is the responsibility of Xavier Fisselier, founder, who approves every publication.
Entries are written and checked with the help of AI tools. None is published without human review and the checks described below.
What an entry contains
Every entry follows the same structure: a short, quotable definition, a longer definition, an example, the angle that matters to a leader, frequently asked questions and the list of sources. It shows its last review date.
Our sourcing rules
- Every date, figure, price or legal obligation points to a primary source: official text (EUR-Lex, Légifrance), vendor documentation, research paper, public statistics.
- Every source shows its access date.
- A figure we cannot find in a primary source is removed, even if it circulates elsewhere.
- An example invented to illustrate a concept starts with "Illustrative case". Its figures are not measurements.
- Figures a vendor publishes about its own product are presented as such.
How we revise
- A full review takes place every quarter (5 January, 5 April, 5 July, 5 October): links, prices, models, regulatory deadlines, statistics.
- A targeted review follows every major change: new European text, new model, price change.
- An entry not reviewed for more than twelve months is marked "to be revised".
- Every substantive correction is recorded in the corrections log.
Three languages, the same content
The glossary exists in French, English and Spanish. The three versions say the same thing and are corrected together.
Readable by people and by AI
Every entry also exists in Markdown, the glossary is described in an llms.txt file, and pages carry structured data (DefinedTerm, FAQPage). AI assistants can therefore quote a definition together with its source.
Report an error
Spotted an error or outdated information? Write to hello@wyp.agency with the entry and, if possible, the source. We check every report; a substantive correction is recorded in the log.
