This page describes what we collect, why, who has access, and how you stay in control.

Data collected

When you request the guide from the homepage: your email address, chosen language, timestamp, and a SHA-256 hash of your IP address (for GDPR audit, never reusable). If you tick the optional editorial notes box, we also keep the date of that choice and the text of the box, as proof. Nothing else.

Purpose

To send you the requested document (two emails: confirmation, then delivery). If, and only if, you tick the optional box provided for that purpose, to also send you WYP.agency's editorial notes: five emails over about a month. No resale, no advertising profiling, ever.

Legal basis

For sending the requested document: your request itself, article 6.1.b of the GDPR. For the editorial notes: your explicit consent, given by ticking the optional box, article 6.1.a. You can withdraw it at any time, in one click from any email or by writing to hello@wyp.agency (see also "Your rights" below).

Retention

Unconfirmed requests are deleted automatically after 7 days. Confirmed addresses are kept until you ask for deletion, or for as long as your interest in our notes is evident.

Processors

Cloudflare (hosting, infrastructure, KV), European datacenters. SparkPost EU (email delivery), operated from Europe by MessageBird. Google Analytics 4 (anonymous audience measurement). All process your data within the European Union or under equivalent safeguards.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection, restriction, withdrawal of consent. To exercise them: hello@wyp.agency. We respond within 30 days. If you disagree, you may file a complaint with the AEPD (Spain), the CNIL (France), the ICO (UK), or your national data protection authority.

Cookies

Google Analytics 4 sets a cookie for aggregated audience measurement. You can disable it via a cookie blocker or the Google Analytics Opt-out browser add-on. The site works without it.

Last update

Version of 15 October 2026 (the editorial notes box is now optional and separate from the guide request). Major changes are notified by email if you are subscribed.
